The official language of the LUPUS 2025 Congress is English.

End of May is a nice time to visit Toronto and enjoy the city’s vibrant life. The average high temperature for the month of May is 17°C (62°F) and the average low temperature is 10°C (50°F).  In the evenings it may be chilly, so prepare a cardigan or a jacket to take with you.

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all congress functions and programs.

Most travelers need a visa OR an Electronic Travel Authorization to travel to Canada – not both. Some travelers may only need their valid passport.

It is the responsibility of LUPUS 2025 participants to obtain a visa if required.  Congress participants should familiarize themselves with visa requirements well in advance of the event. The Congress Organizers encourage you to apply for a visa as early as possible, at least 3 to 4 months before the Congress.

Complete information on whether you need a visa and how to apply for a visa to enter Canada can be found on the Government of Canada’s website.

An official personalized letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the scientific program. Invitation letters are provided electronically in PDF format.

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
